AND MORE RAIN

Half way between awake and asleep at whatever time it was in the night, a very loud crash had me suddenly more awake than asleep. The crash was definitely a very large tree falling over, whoosh, and landing with a thud. The tree didnt fall on my tent, my biggest fear when sleeping in a tent. I then fell into a deep sleep to the sound of frogs in the rain. We were staying at Swamp Stop, an increasingly popular resort on the edge of the Okavango Deltas wilderness, mostly patronized by overlanders, backpackers, and local expatriate fishing freaks from all over Botswana and the region.
