FLOOD FEVER IN MAUN.

And its catching! The river junction is the spot just outside Maun where we all want to be when the Boro flows into the Thamalakane River. For days as the river trickles its way down the dry riverbed, Maun residents with vehicles head up the unpaved road in a long cloud of dust to see this miracle. The rivers arrival at Maun is worshipped in many ways, late night partying. Silent prayers in awe of this life giving resource flowing into the desert, willing that this will be a better flood than weve had in years. Everybody in Maun talks about the river. Will the river make it past my home on the banks of the Thamalakane so I can pump? The lawn needs it.
