week ago I was in Mr Sibangani Mosojane’s office at the Department Wildlife & National Parks HQ in Maun. He is the new coordinator for Ngamiland District, the area Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park are situated. We were discussing the desperate Makgadikgadi Pans national Park water situation, and the hundreds of wildebeest trapped outside the new fence, a potential wildlife disaster, when the phone rang. He excused himself.
