The Boteti River levels rose to the highest recorded in over 40 years and recently started dropping slowly as the long dry season comes to an end. The river is going to be with us for a while - 10 to 30 years if we keep up the trends of the last ten years to complete the forty year cycles between drier and wetter periods.
As a result of all this water I have designed a floating viewing hide that is soon to be completed and floated into position to offer our safari guests a new wildlife experience to compliment our already existing variety of activities. The 25 sq metre vessel will be designed for viewing wildlife while relaxing on the water with a cold box filled with iced drinks and picnic lunch box for those preferring an all day 'escape' on the river.
